The dog & human duo behind your favourite shop
I’m Jo, founder of Bob & Friends. After swapping East London for the Sussex countryside, I fell in love with the creativity of small UK makers and wanted to bring their brilliant products together in one colourful little shop.
From rude socks and soaps to funky T-shirts and natural dog treats, everything is either made by us at Bob & Friends HQ in Sussex or hand-picked from small businesses we love.

How we got started
Unwrapping Our Story
2018 - Bob Joins the Family
Every great business starts somewhere, and ours began with Bob. Like so many dog owners, we quickly discovered just how much joy, personality and chaos one dog could bring into everyday life.
2023 - The Search Begins
We spent years searching for colourful dog gifts, thoughtful accessories and unique products that felt a little different. Along the way we discovered some incredibly talented small UK makers creating beautiful things that deserved to be found.
2024 - Bob & Friends is Born
Bob & Friends was created to bring together hand picked gifts for dog lovers in one colourful online shop. Every product is chosen because we'd happily gift it ourselves, whether it's made by us or sourced from brilliant independent UK businesses.
2025 - Growing the Pack
As more products joined the shelves, so did more wonderful makers. Our mission stayed the same, helping dog lovers discover colourful gifts that celebrate the dogs who make life brighter. Every new addition is carefully chosen to bring a little more joy to dogs and their people.
2026 - Today
Bob & Friends continues to grow with new products, exciting independent makers and plenty more ideas waiting to wag their tails into the shop. We're only just getting started, and we can't wait to help even more dog lovers discover something they'll be excited to give, receive and share.

How We Choose Our Products
At Bob & Friends, we’re a little picky about what makes it onto our shelves. Rather than filling the shop with hundreds of products, we hand-pick gifts, homeware and accessories that feel fun, well made and worth giving.
A lot of what we stock comes from small UK makers, and anything we don’t make ourselves is chosen because it fits the same colourful, playful spirit.
The result is a smaller, more thoughtful collection, so you can spend less time scrolling and more time finding something that feels just right.
